Peppermint, White Chocolate Popcorn

Need I say more?! Three of my favorite things here. When I break my sugar-free time this is one of the first things I am going to make.

My Mom

My mom is the best. She came into town this weekend and we crafted like a bunch of crazy women! It was the best. Everything was out and all over the place but it was so productive!
My mom has these fun binders she keeps with all of her favorite little seasonal crafts and treats. Here are some of my favorites I got from her. We made some of these and loved them.
We had a great October dinner of...
worm burgers

and hand in our potato salad

and "thing" treats!

These are some of the goodies I need to remember. Go cute and creative and fun.

I saw these here and love them. The spiders are trix cereal with frosting legs!

Halloween Treat Jars

Cute idea. Easy and cheap.

Cupcake Bar

This is my new favorite thing I am going to do for my next party. What an ingenious idea. Everyone loves cupcakes. This way you don't have to do all the work yourself and everyone get to have some fun making their own!

Brown Paper Bag Pinata

So this is a great way to make a pinata, get the kids invovled, and have some fun together. They turn out cute and you can pick your own tissue paper. I'll have to keep this is mind for my next little party!

General Conference Goodie Crates

This is a great idea. I LOVE it. Treats and a way to take notes, do you really need anything else? I thought this would be a great way to get the kids more excited about conference. Check it out here.

My Halloween is already leaking out!

So doing these few Halloween crafts that I have loved has made Halloween already start leaking into the house. I just love Halloween and have felt a little "Holiday Deprived!" There is such a lull in the holidays from Spring to basically Fall (with the one fabulous exception of the 4th of July!).
Here are a few I have finished. I will probably keep updating this post as I finish crafts so I don't have a gazillion posts about it. Here you can find where some of these ideas came from.

Target has the best after holiday sales. I bought these frames after Halloween last year and have used them for so many things...but lately they were just sitting around, so I thought why not do a little Halloween somethin' somethin'?! So here it is. This is my first time stitching paper. I don't like how you can see a little white where the needle came through, but over all I really like the look. I love texture in a frame. It is a little unexpected and gives great interest.

I then of course had to go buy some candy to see how it went with it. This is a great way to decorate if you don't have a certain holiday decor. I bought these jars last year and just fill them with seasonal candy as the times change. It is very festive, a lifesaver when you just need a little sugar fix, and cheap.

Limitless Pancakes

This is such a clever way to make fun shapes with pancakes. Pancakes can be a terrible breakfast you are forced to eat all the time, or they can be a fun way to start the day by creating you own fun designs and shapes. I personally prefer the latter! :)
You just use a condiment bottle as your tool. So simple, right?!

Halloween Decor I Love

I grabbed these ideas from here, I'm sure she grabbed them from somewhere too, but at least she'll list where they came from.

I just have to make this owl garland. I love it. Owls are so cute. I am definately a cute halloween person, none of the gore and gloomy for me.

I love this bat chandelier. It is cute and very halloween. I don't think it should be that hard to make. Just some felt bats that I would probably make with a little stuffing inside, pom-poms, yarn and I think that cross-stich rings would work well for it.

I wish I could find where to get this tablecloth. I absolutely LOVE it.

And this is so cute. I think these Mummy Pops are just suckers dipped and then drizzled with white chocolate. If not, that's still what I would probably do....yummy, white chocolate!

Lemonade Stand

I don't know this person, but from the style of the homes in the background she has to live in my neighborhood somewhere. I absolutely LOVE this lemonade stand. I will have to remember something like this for my boys when they get a little older. It is so clever, cute, and fun.

Pie Crust at it's Best

This is a clever way to dress up the messy pie crust edges. Just use small cookie cutters and place around the pie before cooking.

Pepermint Bark

I love this stuff. Here's how to make it. It's a great last minute gift during hte holidays.

Lunch To Go In Style

This is how you get your lunch to go with a little glam!

Pretzel Roller Coaster

This could be a fun family night activity. Pretzels are cheap.

Watermelon Limes

This is just too cute. Check it out here.

Muffin Tin Snacks

I first saw this on my sister-in-laws blog and now again today. I think it is such a good idea. I would probably put some dips in too, but just snacks.

Ritz Cracker Fun

If your kids are anything like mine you have one that eats and one that doesn't. Right when I saw these I thought, "he'll eat these!" I love them. I don't know if I'll like them making more, if he'll like eating them more, but either way we're all winners! :)

Halloween Treats

These cupcakes are so cute!

Valentine Goodies

These are so fun!
