Story Dice

This is a great way to get your kids to make stories up and pretend. I love the idea. They choose a dice, roll it and begin the story...."Once upon a time there was a ..." after they started it they (or another child) rolls another dice and continues it.
Super Cute! I would probaly try to draw my own pictures to make it a little more personal.

I saw that Hobby Lobby sells these just the other week and I am so glad someone did some up to inspire me. I think they are so cute and fun. It would be fun to do so many different things with these.

Snakes

These are great. I like home-made things now and I am going to have to use this. I would probably alter it to make a caterpillar or worm as well.

Plush Animals

I am very into little plush animals, creatures, monsters, etc. I love them. They are surprizingly easy to make and cute as a gift or just to add to a gift. I found these cuties here.

Wooden Spool Dolls

These are soooooo cute. I want to make some of these. It would be fun to start building your own "town people", family, etc. I little something personal for the kids. I look back and always LOVE the things that my mom had made. I want to get back to that. I think we've kind of lost that in our generation!

Fake Make-up (and Nail Polish)

Fake make-up is a huge part of a little girl's life. I love this tutorial. It is fun, easy, cheap, and looks great.

You just pour nail polish into an old make-up case. It is really stinky and takes about 3 days to dry and vent.

You can even keep the nail polish bottle (if you used it all), wash it out and have "play" nail polish for your girls.

Here's the some I made. Being a pack-rack has its advantages. I can't believe how many almost empty make-up things I had. This isn't even all of them, I just ran out or nail polish color.

It does dry really low. Fill it until it looks like it will overflow, it shrinks bigtime!

Board Book Personalized

I will be doing this soon. Easy, cheap, touching....all good things. Here's where I stole it.

Here's the one I made for my boys. It has already gotten A LOT of use. They love it and so do I. I just wich it closed better. That's why I added the elastic with the tool. With all the extra paper and do-dads inside it wouldn't shut.

Kid Art with a Personal Touch

I've been needing something for my boy's room, art of some kind, so I thought, why not snap some close ups of their favorite toys. Here are the shots. I am going to put white mat around them and then frame them in very clean lined contemporary black frames. I've very pleased with the pictures. I can't wait to frame them...

Felt Mail Bag and Letters

My boys love mail. I thought that this could be so fun and cute. Here's where it came from.

Glitter Playdough

I love when people take one of my favorite things and make it even more fun. This is the perfect example.

Felt Kitchen and Food

So here's the roll up kitchen for the food. It is so adorable. I don't have a girl yet, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE this and am playing a craft day with some friends to make it. Maybe it's because I never had one as a little girl!?

Look how it rolls up..oh, it gives me chills! :)

Here's a tutorial for a lunch bag and meal. It is so cute! It's got a sandwich, ho-ho's, chips...

And soon to come, all the pics and links for the marvelous felt food!

Here's an amazing site with great felt fruit!

Fabric Doll House

This is great. We're not really into girly things, but I may make a barn, or just save this in the files for a girl (if that ever happens). It is so easy and way cute!

Here's how she did it.
