I like this one because it is a fun activity for everyday. I definitely want to make this one!

Believe Ornaments

This is totally cute and is perfect or the window over my door. I thing I'll do it two sided so that it looks good from the inside and the out.

Owl Taggie Toy

I love owls. They are the radge! This toy is cute, creative, and useful. I want to make one bad. Looks like I need another trip to the fabric store! :)

Door Alarm for Kids

"Saved by the Bell" with this little kid door alarm. What a great idea for those night when the kids in the "big kid beds" like to come out time and time again.

Bleeding Candles and A Sppoky Banner

This was such a clever idea. They're called "Bleeding Candles". You just spray paint a red candle black, light it and let the red drip down. Easy and fun.

This was a really fun banner I saw on that same blog. I love the fabrics. She also added ribbon and little halloween doo-dads to it. It looks great!

Great Party Invite Idea

"Can " you come to my party?...I love this idea because I've never seen it before. You could even just make one to invete somene over to play, or have lunch. I also like it because it is not a gender specific idea!

Wooden Spool Dolls

These are soooooo cute. I want to make some of these. It would be fun to start building your own "town people", family, etc. I little something personal for the kids. I look back and always LOVE the things that my mom had made. I want to get back to that. I think we've kind of lost that in our generation!

My Halloween is already leaking out!

So doing these few Halloween crafts that I have loved has made Halloween already start leaking into the house. I just love Halloween and have felt a little "Holiday Deprived!" There is such a lull in the holidays from Spring to basically Fall (with the one fabulous exception of the 4th of July!).
Here are a few I have finished. I will probably keep updating this post as I finish crafts so I don't have a gazillion posts about it. Here you can find where some of these ideas came from.



Target has the best after holiday sales. I bought these frames after Halloween last year and have used them for so many things...but lately they were just sitting around, so I thought why not do a little Halloween somethin' somethin'?! So here it is. This is my first time stitching paper. I don't like how you can see a little white where the needle came through, but over all I really like the look. I love texture in a frame. It is a little unexpected and gives great interest.


I then of course had to go buy some candy to see how it went with it. This is a great way to decorate if you don't have a certain holiday decor. I bought these jars last year and just fill them with seasonal candy as the times change. It is very festive, a lifesaver when you just need a little sugar fix, and cheap.

Holiday Word Blocks

These should be so easy. Just cut a 2x4 up into different lengths to get the different block sizes. Then mod podge the paper on after you have decorated it as you like (stamping the edges, ripped, trimmes, etc.). Them apply the letter and add embeleshments. I am definately going to do this one soon. I finally have a use for those loose boards I have been hanging onto.

Purse Notebooks

I've seen these done, but these are by far the cutest. Cheap, especially if you buy notebooks at back to school time. They are like $.20! Check out how to make them here.

Napkins and Napkin Rings

I've always wanted napkin rings but just can't find some I love, so here's a way to make your won from toilet paper or paper towel rings and cover them up and decorate them as you want. At this price (FREE!!) you can make some for personal parties, holidays, activities, just because....I am so excited for this. I feel a little luncheon coming on just so I can make some napkin rings!

Chicken Wire Bow Holder

So if I ever have a girl I hear finding a place for all her bows will be a project. I will keep this in mind as I think it is very creative, cute, and functional. I love it.
