General Conference Goodie Crates

This is a great idea. I LOVE it. Treats and a way to take notes, do you really need anything else? I thought this would be a great way to get the kids more excited about conference. Check it out here.

Carseat Organizer

This is so smart. I need this, especially for road-trips. This is defiantly not my fabric of choice, but there are so many fun prints out there. I might even do a vinyl, tablecloth fabric that could just be wiped down.

Monthly Calendar

I love this. I've been thinking about making one of these but just couldn't find one that I love. Well here it is. It is just a frame with the glass. Everything is done on the back so that you can write and erase easily. The lines are jsut drawn on with a sharpie and the circles and "Month" are done is vinyl on the back (if you're using your cricut use the mirror option so they can be placed on the back of the glass).
If you wanted a print or something behind you could always cover the cardboard that was behing the glass with a fabric or paper.
Check out the one who did it here. She took the idea from one she saw at Joann's.

Bird Nest Gift/Storage Boxes

I love these. I am gling to be doing a black/white/lime green bird theme in my craft room and this would be so perfect in those colors. I think it would also make it look a little more updated in the more contempory colors as well. Check out the how to here.

File Cabinets Re-Vamped

If you are anything like me you have a lot of files...okay, so it's probably just me. I guess it's from my old teaching days. These file cabinet make overs are great. I usually get my filing cabinets from DI so they are pretty beat up and ugly. I want to do this to make them fashionable and cute.

Here's the first. It was done with 3 rolls of wrapping paper.

Here's the second. It was done with about 2-3 yards of fabric.

And here's the third. It was done with wallpaper.

Here's another done with wrapping paper.

Menu Board

I love this. I always like to plan out our meals so that when I go to the store I only buy what I need. I know when kids get older they always ask, "what's for dinner?" I think this would be a fun way to tackle the meal thing....and it's cute. It is just a 3 frame with a little half wood box at the bottom for markers and erasers.

Wrapping Paper Storage

What a great way to use a quilting hanger. I am always trying to figure out how to store my wrapping paper.

Sewing Cover Up

This is what I need to hide all my projects. Nicely done!

Magazine Holders (REcycled)

I have been needing some of these but never want to spend my money on them because there are so many other fun things to buy. Now I can finally get organized for FREE! These boxes are free from the Post Office...AND...they will deliver them to your door! Sound just like my kind of craft!
Here's where I grabbed it.

Dress up File Folders

Of course! Why didn't I think of this?!

Kids Schedule Board

We don't have any activities yet, but someday I know it will be crazy. I will have to remember this to keep us organized.

And here's a great idea for covering your messy board up...

Buckets Done Right

This is a great way for using big buckets that are cheap and getting a great look. I will never throw a bucket away again!
Here's where I grabbed it.
